RORC Cervantes Trophy: 29th-30th April 

Members: 44 points 

Non-Members: £495 per person

As the race starts at 0950 on Saturday morning, we meet Friday  7pm to allow time for a crew get-together and dinner. The race heads to France, allowing for some time ashore before sailing back to Hamble to arrive on Bank Holiday Monday 1 May

 

RORC De Guingand Bowl: 13th-14th May 

Members: 44 points 

Non-Members: £495 per person

The DeGuingand Bowl this year will be between 110 and 160nms. Starting in Cowes, the 24-36hr long course takes yachts around a series of marks before finishing in the Solent. This is a great race for those who are either new to offshore racing, or don't have the time to do the longer distance races.


RORC Myth of Malham: 26th-28th May 

Members: 44 points 

Non-Members: £495 per person

The Myth of Malham race is also referred to as the 'Eddystone' Race as the course takes you from Cowes, West around the Eddystone lighthouse and back. One of the longer weekend races at 230nm this is popular because it covers the first 100 miles of the Fastnet course. Typically it is upwind to the lighthouse and a downhill spinnaker run back it should be non-stop action.

The race starts at 0950 so we meet Friday 7pm for a crew get-together and dinner before the race starts on Saturday morning. The race usually takes 2 days, so you can expect to return to Hamble on the morning of Bank Holiday Monday.

 

RORC Morgan Cup: 9th-11th June 

Members: 44 points 

Non-Members: £495 per person

For 2017, the Morgan Cup will race to St. Peterport.  The race will start Friday evening at 1850 (9 June) so we meet Friday 2pm in Hamble. You can expect to enjoy Saturday dinner ashore, followed by an overnight sail back to arrive late afternoon/early evening on Sunday. 

 

RORC St Malo Race: 7th-9th July 

Members: 66 points 

Non-Members: £725 per person

One of the most popular RORC races, you can enjoy not just a great race to St. Malo but also enjoy an evening ashore in the beautiful walled French town, followed by a delivery sail back, giving the chance to hone those skills and try less familiar roles.

Meet in Hamble on Thursday 7pm. Starting at 1050 Friday 7 July we'll head out across the Channel, racing through the night past the Casquets lighthouse arriving in to St Malo Saturday afternoon. The race nearly often involves some challenging wind conditions around the Channel Islands. After a celebratory dinner ashore, you will depart on Sunday morning for the delivery sail back to Hamble, arriving late Sunday / early Monday morning. Approx 175nM + cruise back.


RORC Channel Race: 22nd-23rd July 

Members: 44 points 

Non-Members: £495 per person

The Channel Race which is a normally between 100 and 140nms. Starting in Cowes, the 24- 30hr  course takes yachts around a series of marks before crossing the finish line in the Solent. This is a great race for those who are either new to offshore racing, or don't have the time to do the longer distance races.
