Training

We expect that some prospective members of the Pure Latitude boat share club will not have the necessary qualification or experience to skipper a boat. We offer two services that rapidly bring you up to the necessary level of experience. Firstly we have a crew only membership, where we guarantee a specific number of days sailing as crew - ideal for increasing your experience and enjoying the boats at the same time.

Secondly we can provide either skippers or training skippers to give you the level of comfort and/or instruction you require. In this way members can sail and keep training until they can gain the necessary qualifications or experience. Please contact us for details.

Additionally we expect some qualified or experienced sailors to wish to undergo further training (none of us ever stop learning), either because they want to brush up on skills, or perhaps to acquire others e.g. a sailor may want to learn about RIBS or powerboats, or vice versa).

Through our partner training schools we offer all levels of training to bring you up to our minimum levels of required experience or indeed beyond.
