As a club, Pure Latitude provides support in the form of familiarisation, training and all sorts of general advice, be that a question about a boat or perhaps about a destination you are considering.

Like minded members have the option to use the club for finding crew, or even just occasional sailing partners. We envisage that a proportion of the fleet will participate in major events (e.g. Round the Island in the Solent) and so opportunity exists for members to enter a team, using the central organising capability of the club.

We will also take input from members when taking decisions about expansion to new locations and which new boats to acquire so members get to influence the direction of the club.

Choice of Boat Type

With Pure Latitude you take the boat to suit the occasion. We have a range of performance cruising yachts, as well as a Swordsman and rib.

So whatever the occasion, be that a family sailing trip, a business lunch in Yarmouth, a romantic weekend, or a day of high-octane sailing with the group of mates, you take the boat that fits.

Rest assured, you need never feel limited by one boat ever again. But at the same time, you will have all the benefits that go with ownership like knowing where the stop-cocks are, being familiar with the electronics as well as of course how the boat handles.

Choice of Location

Our first base is The Hamble. We  have plans for bases around the UK and overseas. Club members will have access to boats in all locations.

In the meantime, as part of our service to members, we have partner arrangements with charter companies so you will have access to boats in other locations, on a charter basis.

No Capital Commitment

With Pure Latitude there is no need to raise the capital for that dream boat purchase, and so no extra mortgage and no depreciation. In fact no asset concerns at all, just Pure boating, for a fixed yearly cost.

No Ownership Burdens

We handle all maintenance, mooring arrangements and insurance. You just roll up, step on and go. On return, step off and leave the boat to us. It couldn't be simpler. Which means no more anti-fouling, servicing or administration pain. Pay for the fuel, make sure the boat is left as you found it, and that’s it – no other demands on your time.
